God Is Far Away last night, all alone in the darkness of the night i thought I saw an Angel taking off in flight so I took a second look just to ease my mind saw it was a falling star landing just in time and then when I awoke to the brightness of the day a sad voice deep inside me said "God is far away" so I danced with the Devil till midnight our shadows cast on the wall he held me close & whispered "ill never let you fall" then I was on a mission through a dark & haunted hall I asked for God's permission but I must have missed His call so I called upon the Angels to please show me the way I waited & I prayed till night turned into day then I looked all around me there was nothing to behold the world was dark & dying and looking deathly old so I listened for the bells at Church they've got something to say a kind & gentle warning given every day so remember this, my children each time you kneel & pray there is no "sweet salvation" cause God is far away so I danced with the Devil till midnight and he said "see? I told you so your God can be misleading and only the Chosen can go" and then I saw a Dove heading for the sky I couldn't understand I could only watch & cry So the Devil held me tighter almost as if he knew if he tried to steal my Soul? what would my God do? So the Devil danced on my grave just as happy as can be there was no where left to go till I heard "follow me come with me, my child I know that you are lost I'm here to save your Soul no matter what the cost" now the Devil is just a memory a shadow left behind cause God has finally found me and now my Soul is mine ... for ALL who are lost & suffer be they man or beast it's just good to know if you're last - you are NOT the least ... more ...
